What this means in practice
Some of the products we cover include a link to buy on Amazon.com, using our affiliate tag. If you click that link and buy the product (or, in some cases, another qualifying product during that shopping session), Amazon pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.
Not every product has a purchase link — and that's on purpose
Some of the products we cover have no purchase link from us at all. These are typically products where our research turned up real, documented red flags, and we chose to cover them purely as informational, warning-oriented reporting rather than direct people toward a purchase. The presence or absence of a link on a given dispatch is not a signal of how good or bad we think the product is — it simply reflects what we found in our research and how we chose to present it. A product can be reported honestly, red flags and all, with no link attached.
Our verdicts come first, monetization comes second
We want to state this plainly: the verdict on any product we cover — Recommended, Red Flags Found, or Mixed — is decided based on our research, before we ever look for a purchase link or a way to monetize the page. Whether a product earns us a commission has no bearing on whether we call out its problems or credit its strengths. If our research finds a genuine issue with a product, we report it, whether or not there's an affiliate link attached.
No fake reviews, no testimonials
We do not publish fake reviews, and we do not use testimonials — fabricated or otherwise — anywhere on this Site. Our coverage is based on manufacturer-published claims, publicly available records, and our own research, as described on our About page.
