Who we are, and how we report on products
Mind Vitality News is a small research desk that reports on trending health supplements and consumer gadgets — the products people are actually searching for, whether the coverage is glowing, mixed, or a flat-out warning. We are not the manufacturer or retailer of anything we write about, and we don't pretend otherwise.
What we actually do
For every product we cover, our process is the same: read the manufacturer's own published claims and label (when one exists), check what independent sources — regulators, court filings, consumer-complaint boards, peer-reviewed research — say about the product or the company behind it, and write down what we find. When the label or the marketing has a gap (an undisclosed ingredient amount, an unverifiable company address, a claim we can't source), we say so plainly instead of filling it in with a guess.
What "Recommended," "Red Flags Found," and "Mixed" mean
Every dispatch on this site is tagged with one of three verdicts, right at the top:
- Recommended — an established brand with a verifiable track record and no material red flags found in our research.
- Red Flags Found — our research turned up real, documented concerns (regulatory findings, complaint patterns, unverifiable claims, sourcing conflicts). We publish these findings honestly and point to a cleaner, independently verifiable alternative where one exists.
- Mixed — a genuine core function or benefit exists, but so does a real, documented complaint (billing pattern, business practice, marketing overreach) worth knowing before you buy.
How we handle supplement labels specifically
When a supplement discloses its full ingredient list and per-ingredient dosage, we say so — that's a real, meaningful transparency signal. When a product uses an undisclosed "proprietary blend," we say that too, plainly, rather than treating it as equivalent to a fully-disclosed formula. We don't round up research findings, imply FDA approval where none exists, or repeat a manufacturer's disease-treatment language.
How we handle gadgets and DTC products
For consumer gadgets, we check the manufacturer's actual published specifications against what's realistic for the category, note when a claimed mechanism doesn't hold up to how the underlying technology actually works, and check the seller's own business record (Better Business Bureau standing, domain registration age, regulatory advertising rulings) where that information is publicly available.
How we make money
Some of our coverage links to products on Amazon.com through the Amazon Associates program, and we earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through those links at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we report — a product's verdict is decided before we look for a purchase link, not the other way around. Full detail is on our Disclosure page.
